The soil is and the closer inspection I realize that I have built me a giant box of OSB in the near future I will ship all my big-boy-toy.
The Festool CS-50 is already disassembled and cleaned, waiting for the return to the dealer I trust takes them in payment for the two new machines. I opted for the saw-milling wood power combined ST-1 and the thickness planer combo FS-30 of the same brand. I hope that my decision is right and the two aircraft in service will perform to my satisfaction. It is a blind buy something because not a lot to bring in experience was about these machines, although Wood-fired power with the minimax series, which spawned the two machines mentioned, the SCM group is one that is apparently one of the largest manufacturers of wood processing machines. Well, in all the forums rave about fields and hammer but the two brands have no machines in the program that would be compact enough to fit in my garage. I will keep in any case in an objective manner used to date on the subject.

I had planned this weekend to get the ground ready. I am unfortunately not very successful and is still missing, a narrow strip which I then just put it in a week. It itches that is powerful in the fingers finally back to carpentry. The following image you can see the bed as it is inserted between the squares and removed.
So I work my rows with the OSB boards before laying the opposite wall. The 22mm thick panels are provided with tongue and groove. I Glue and screw it to the substructure of thermoplastic wood.
The dry bed of course, is irresistible to my two boys that I would like to introduce you to take this opportunity in the following figure.

Most Accurate Ammo For Marlin 30-30 Lever

The work has started and the back and knees hurt terribly but the prospect of the new facility let all the pain forgotten. Kidding! To bad it does not hurt again, but one senses that many years have rusty office work on the joints. As can be seen on the following image, the ground is anything but flat and the squares need some backing to get it flat.
So I work my way through rows of the room. The gap is filled with a Isolierschüttung before the OSB panels are laying on it. I prefer this construction of a floating installation before because I fear that failure could occur irregularly by the weight of the machines and their vibrations occupied a floating dry bed.

The CS-50 is certainly a good circular saw and I decided last year for lack of space for them. Unfortunately, the machine is delivered in its structure to be too soft to repeatedly accurate results. The angular accuracy of cuts depends on the wood and resulting from different feed forces. A format circular saw must therefore her! Also on the wish list is already longer a Jointer Planer . wood power has could fit these two new machines, and more recently in the program and it looks like these are the only "big" machines of this type along the small of my workshop. But how you get in general the two machines in a 3 x 5-foot workshop with the MFT / 3 and the cabinet shop for the drilling and milling, and reserves the bargain room for the planned official router table? Here is an approach in which the largest working lengths of the sliding table saw and jointer-planer is available:
The two stationary machinery stood opposite each other and would work in each direction 2.25m clearance. The brown rectangle of the MFT / 3 is thus moved under the window. The blue rectangle with the circle is the new portable suction. The proposed router table would be in in this case, the MFT / 3 is integrated. This approach might work because the work tables of the machines and the MFT / 3 are all on exactly the same height of 900mm and is therefore nothing in the way when processing large workpieces. It is the Undercover Jig by Wolfcraft . Actually I was looking for a bit overlong set and the Undercover Jig contains precisely a long Pozidriv bit and after a moment think if I could produce such a cheap template itself, I have decided that the offer would have to be set with the step drill bit long and the money (29.90 €) value. A quick test on two wood residues confirmed that this little helper works very well and I think that it can be safely used in upcoming projects sometimes.

After I Part 1 have reported on the body, it is about the drawers. They consist of Fichtenleimholz and run on 27mm wide ball part excerpts from Hettich are grooved into the drawer sides. The floor is made of 12mm OSB grooved all around. It is perhaps interesting to know that the only fixed dimension is the height of the drawers. All other dimensions are simply tapped on the body and transmitted. This method I find much more accurate measure than expected and.

Have you not you ever wondered about the details of astonishingly short construction times in magazines and Internet articles. As a carport created in 3 days, a great media center on a weekend and by the way the kitchen in a week. Am I stupid or slow or still a gourmet? You've probably guessed it. To hell with this information and pull the thing through in my pace, or who shall have free to push through such a project. I seriously wonder how a hobbyist in 3 days time can hammer out short 'ne wardrobe. Sorry I have now just one celebration evening it uses half of the drawer sides and bottoms of sand from the workshop floor unit, or is there somewhere to buy the wood panels are sanded ready? Perhaps the time statements are made in hours so everyone can think of how long he will need. In days are useless because one does not know if there are 8, 12 or even 24 hours ;-) days.

To the 40 we stand with two feet in life, have time, we may make the expensive toys that patience larger projects with greater ease have to address and enjoy our women, ourselves and the children for a few hours to get rid of!
am I now in my shop and treat myself the luxury, though I probably 44 years on statistical Half my life out, I am for 2 hours to reflect in the company of a few beers, I also like the damn floor in my workshop just get. Why I do it not easy? I know eh, I'm going to get a couple of OSB flooring panels and then with greater ease and serenity lie in a horizontal plane, while thinking about the sustainability of the flat floor in the garage of the house, its people and myself I suppose my time and enjoy it! Yes, despite, or maybe thanks to the excess of the "middle" I take my time and enjoy the maturation of thought and enjoyment of the beer during my various statements deliberately correctly be and I no longer acoustically perceive, as well as: "From now on you can enjoy the 's', 'you'll get anyway not done everything what you're up" or something as mundane as "Life is short', Strong as" Carpe Diem "and so on. Macromastia Tight Clothes

The new drill-drill combination was temporarily mounted on an old 60's kitchen cabinet in the basement was still around. However, it was clear from the beginning that at least one drill, the DIY router table and the disk sander to get their own rollable cabinet. The idea is all the parts on hand and arranged in drawers under the appropriate machine to stow away. The side and back panels from 12mm OSB are grooved and glued to the frame. OSB is actually a very decent board material for fillings as long as one does not disturb the optics. For this application, I sanded the panels on the outside of 50 up to 180 grit paper.
The upper and lower floors of 22mm OSB with Fichtenholzumleimer be later connected with screws releasably to the frame. The edging on the inside are a few millimeters and help make the frame during assembly and gluing in the right angle to force.
